SUNY System has put in place uniform COVID-19 protocols for all campuses for Commencement exercises. All graduating students must comply with the current in-person student vaccine requirements. This means that students must either be up-to-date with both their vaccination and booster shots or must have submitted a medical or religious waiver and received approval. Please review the Student Vaccine Policy for more information and links to exemption request forms. If you plan to submit a waiver, you should do so as soon as possible to ensure ample time for review and approval.
All guests and attendees will be required to follow campus protocols for COVID-19 in place at the time of Commencement.

As has become tradition for many graduating classes, be sure to take a photo in front of the Mustang Statue! The statue, which has become integral to Morrisville pride, is located in the Administrative Quad found in front of the Whipple Administration Building.

Application to Graduate
All Class of 2022 graduates, regardless of whether they intend to participate in Commencement, should have completed an Application to Graduate through Web for Students by April 15. If you did not do so, please reach out to the Office of the Registrar.
Classes of 2020 and 2021 (May/Aug./Dec. 2020 and May/Aug./Dec. 2021 graduates)
When the Classes of 2020 and 2021 graduated from SUNY Morrisville, the usual pomp and circumstance of a full in-person graduation ceremony was not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we'd like to make it up to you by being a part of this year's traditional campus graduation experience!
All graduates from the Classes of 2020 and 2021, including May/Aug./Dec. 2020 and May/Aug./Dec. 2021 grads, are invited to participate and be recognized during the 2022 Commencement. Graduates from those classes were asked to register by April 15 if they were interested in participating in Commencement. If you did not do so and would like to participate, please reach out to the Office of the Registrar.
The Classes of 2020 and 2021 will be seated separately from the Class of 2022 and will be recognized first as they walk across the stage. All graduates and their guests are invited to a campus reception on the Administrative Quad directly following the ceremony.
Please see below for more information regarding graduation tickets, cap and gown, and the college’s COVID-19 protocols.
