Course Reserves

Faculty may place books from the library collection, textbooks, audio-visual media, printed articles, and other types of physical materials on reserve in the library for students enrolled in their courses to use. Course reserves are housed in the library at the circulation desk. Faculty should use BlackBoard to post digital course materials for their students. Fair use guidelines for posting copyrighted materials in course management systems are available in the Library's Copyright Primer.

Materials on reserve in the library are for in-library use only. These items are kept on reserve for one semester and are then returned to the library collection or to the owner of the materials unless longer reserve arrangements are specified. Faculty members may also place personal copies of books or audio-visual materials on reserve. For more information contact the circulation supervisor at craigpl@morrisville.edu.
